Gilbert Hardwood Centers specializes in Appalachian Hardwoods which come from a sustainable forest; have consistent grain patterns, color and durability; offer increased yield for manufacturers; and are made in the United States of America. Appalachian Hardwoods are a renewable resource that is sustainably managed and growing more than 2.3 trees for every tree that is harvested or dying combined!

Gilbert Hardwood Centers also produces its own fuel from wood waste that operate its kilns to consistently dry our hardwood lumber.

Both operations offer customers a variety of choices including Red and White Oak, Poplar, Walnut, Cherry, Hard and Soft Maple, Basswood, Mahogany, Alder, Ash, Birch, Hickory and Tupelo as well as softwoods, red cedar, cypress and white pine. Thicknesses mostly run from 4/4 to 8/4 in all grades, but some thicker stock to 16/4 is available, and we can find any special orders.

The company also markets 4x8 sheets of hardwood plywood in 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch thicknesses and in a wide range of species.
